Samarkand Reviews Data Center and Plant Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held in Samarkand region between regional governor Adiz Boboev and Adham Yusupov, founder and chief executive officer of US-based Ecology Mir Group, to discuss new investment initiatives.

The business delegation presented two large-scale projects to the region. The first involves the construction of a high-tech data center in Akdarya district. The second project focuses on launching large-scale production of high-voltage power transformers and household transformers.

It was noted that ATEF Group, an international holding with more than 50 years of experience and a network of 11 plants worldwide, is involved in the implementation of the energy project.

The sides estimated that the initiatives would create new jobs and ensure the transfer of advanced technologies to the regional economy.

The governor of Samarkand region supported the proposed projects and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive assistance to investors.

The parties are now working on technical parameters and selecting sites for project implementation, after which a transition to the practical phase is expected.
