Uzbekistan and Afghanistan to expand cooperation in field of railways

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan and Afghanistan discussed cooperation in the field of railway transport, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The delegations of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan held a meeting in Termez on 23 September, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The delegation of Afghanistan was headed by the Director General of the Railway Administration Mohammad Yam Shams.

The sides discussed drafts of important bilateral documents, concerning cooperation of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan in the field of railway transport.
