Uzbekistan Airways wraps up spring Umrah programme

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, a national airline of Uzbekistan, (Uzbekistan Airways) successfully completed execution of spring Umrah programme.

Pilgrims from various regions of Uzbekistan were transported from Uzbekistan to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Boeing-757/767 airplanes. The airline said it attracted high-skilled to conduct six hour flight.

Within the programme, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari executed over 20 flights and transported over 4,000 passengers, majority of them were elder people.

The airline added that it created special zones for pilgrims to register passengers, as well as for customs and border control. Passengers were provided with halal food.
