Uzbekistan Airways transports over 2.572 million passengers in 2015

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) transported over 2.572 million passengers in 2015, the press service of the Uzbek airline said.

The airline said that it transported about 42,000 tonnes of cargo, including paid luggage.

Now cargo flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, Frankfurt, Shanghai, Seoul, Milan, Vienna, Hanoi, Zaragoza are carried out from Navoi Airport, where the International Intermodal Logistics Centre (IILC) was established.

During last year, about 692 flights were executed from IILC, while the volume of cargo transportation reached 35,989.2 tonnes in 2015, which rose by 16 % year-on-year.
