Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In order to conclude new export contracts and search for appropriate importing partners, a demonstration of products of Uzbek enterprises was organized at the Import-Export Exhibition of Goods in Hainan Province on 28-30 September, Dunyo news agency reported.
The Uzbekistan pavilion presented national craft products - ceramic plates, bowls and teapots, clothing, carpets, scarves, shawls and more, as well as fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, and confectionery.
At the same time, at the event, the Chinese side was presented with information about the export potential, investment and tourism opportunities of our country.
During the event, negotiations were held between the Uzbek delegation and the head of the Hainan Trade and Economic Group Gao Fen, the President of the China International Trade Association Kevin Wang and the Secretary General of this organization Lily Sun.
During the negotiations, preliminary agreements were reached on various areas of cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of our country, the Export Promotion Agency and the Exporters Association and these Chinese organizations.
Products manufactured in our country, handicrafts, and tourism opportunities aroused increased interest in Uzbekistan among visitors to the exhibition.
