Uzbek President leaves for India

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov left for a state visit to India on 17 May 2011 at the invitation of President of India Pratibha Patil.

During the visit, the issues of expansion of Uzbek-Indian cooperation, problems of regional and international issues of mutual interest will be discussed.

Following the talks, the sides plan to sign several bilateral documents aimed at deepening cooperation in various fields.
