Uzbek President conveys condolences to Turkey

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has condoled with President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the death of military servicemen as a result of terrorist attack in south-western Turkey.

Kurdish rebels attacked Turkish troops on 18 October evening in Bitlis, southern-eastern Turkey. On Wednesday, Kurds killed 24 Turkish troops during attack to military post.

Another military post was attacked by Kurdish rebels in Chukurdka, which is located near Iraq.
