Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A parliamentary delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbayeva, participated in the plenary session of the X BRICS Parliamentary Forum in St. Petersburg. The session focused on "Interparliamentary Cooperation in Humanitarian and Cultural Spheres."
The event addressed the development of international cooperation in science, education, tourism, arts, and culture, as well as interaction with young parliamentarians.
The Uzbek delegation highlighted the country’s efforts in advancing education, culture, and tourism, along with the significant achievements in these areas.
Forum participants discussed the exchange of experiences in the development of science, education, culture, and tourism, along with issues of gender equality and women’s rights protection.
A joint declaration of the X Parliamentary Forum was adopted at the conclusion of the event.
