Uzbek FM holds meeting with diplomatic adviser to the President of Italy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – On 12 December 2019, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov in Rome met with the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Italian Republic, Ambassador Emanuela D’Alessandro, the Foreign Ministry said.

Priorities for further development of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy were discussed in the context of preparations for the upcoming contacts at the highest level.

It was emphasized that the Uzbek-Italian summit will allow resuming direct political dialogue between the leaders of the two countries and give a new impetus to relations in all areas of mutual interest.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on specific proposals to strengthen cooperation in the fields of politics, economics, investment, science and education, and cultural exchanges.
