Uzbek, Chinese Transport Ministers discuss cooperation issues

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov meets with Chinese Transport Minister Li Xiaopen.

Important tasks related to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport were discussed at the meeting.

In particular, the ministers discussed the implementation of the project for the construction of the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway, the development of the multimodal transport corridor “Andijan – Osh – Irkeshtom – Kashgar”, simplified issuance of visas to drivers engaged in international freight transport, as well as the formation of new multimodal transport corridors.
