Uzbek-Chinese business forum takes place in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- An Uzbek-Chinese Business Forum, dedicated to development of trade-economic and investment, cooperation between two states was held in Tashkent on 30 March 2012.

Chamber of commercial and industry of Uzbekistan said that the participants considered perspectives of investment cooperation between two states, including formation of project on creation of the industrial high technology park in Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan.

The participants discussed expansion of cooperation in machinery, electrotechnical and other sectors of economy.

After the business forum, the participants attended a cooperation exchange to discuss implementation of joint projects and establish contacts.

The most favorable mode of nation treatment operates between Uzbekistan and China in the economic sphere. The volume of mutual trade turnover made US$2.596 billion in 2011. Some382 joint enterprises with the Chinese capital and 65 representative companies operate in Uzbekistan.
