Uzbek athletes grab eight more medals at Paralympics

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan won eight more deals on the third day of Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

Judoka Odil Tulendibaev (+100 kg) won the gold medal of the Paralympics. Haytjon Alimova (+70 kg) won the silver medal. Shukhrat Boboev (-90 kg), Shirin Sharipov (-100 kg) and Gulruh Rakhimov (-70 kg) clinched bronze medals in judo competitions.

Fotimahon Amilova won the silver medal in the 200m medley. Swimmer Shohsanam Tashpulatova won bronze medal. Doniyor Soliyev received the bronze medal in the long jump.

Currently, Uzbekistan won four gold, four silver and 11 bonze medals at Rio Paralympics.
