US CENTCOM Commander pays visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The commander of Central Command of the US Armed Forces, General Lloyd James Austin III is paying a visit to Uzbekistan.

On 27 July 2015, the US General was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.

During the meeting, the sides discussed various aspects of the Uzbek-American relations, as well as some international and regional issues.

The US Ambassador Pamela Leora Spratlen attended the meeting.
