Umid Ahmadjonov elected as chairman of National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Chairman of the Uzbekistan Football Federation Umid Ahmadjonov was elected as the chairman of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Uzbekistan.

Umid Ahmadjonov was elected as the head of the NOC of Uzbekistan during the extraordinary meeting of the organization in Tashkent.

Heads of responsible organizations, representatives of sports federations, mass media workers took part in the session.

As chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Umid Ahmadjonov replaced the chairman of the Uzbekneftegaz Alisher Sultanov.

The deputy chairmen, the secretary general and members of the executive committee of the NOC of Uzbekistan were also elected.

Alisher Sultanov, Salim Abduvaliev, Oybek Kasymov and Murodjon Azimov became the vice presidents of NOC of Uzbekistan. Jasur Matchanov became general secretary of the NOC.
