Turkish Airlines conducts first flight from Istanbul to Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A plane of Turkish Airlines carried out the first flight on route from Istanbul to Samarkand on 16 March 2018.

The delegation of Turkey and Uzbekistan, including mass media of two countries welcomed the first flight.

New route should expand trade-economic and investment cooperation between two states, as well as help to development of tourism sector.
