Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 5 September, a collision occurred between a Daewoo Nexia passenger car and a MAN truck on the 38th kilometer of the Naberezhnye Chelny–Almetyevsk highway in Zainsky District, Tatarstan. Three Uzbek citizens died as a result of the accident.
According to the Uzbek consulate in Kazan, the deceased were men aged 35, 33, and 30, all originally from Namangan Region. Their bodies will be repatriated at the expense of the Migration Agency.
The diplomatic mission stated that it is monitoring the situation and coordinating with local authorities. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
