Three Injured as Isuzu Bus Overturns in Tashkent Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Three people were injured after an Isuzu passenger bus overturned following a collision with a Lacetti in the Akhangaran district of Tashkent region, the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent Region Department of Internal Affairs said.

The accident occurred at around 18:30 on 2 September on the Tashkent-Osh highway, which runs through the Akhangaran district.

According to preliminary information, the 62-year-old driver of the Isuzu bus was making a U-turn at an authorized location when the bus collided with a Lacetti traveling in the opposite direction. The bus overturned following the collision.

The 29-year-old driver of the Lacetti and two bus passengers sustained injuries in the accident. All three were hospitalized.

An inquiry into the accident is underway.
