Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on the company Uzstanex from Uzbekistan. This follows similar sanctions previously imposed by the United States.
The UK Foreign Ministry announced the introduction of a new sanctions package targeting 56 individuals and entities with links to Russia.
The sanctions were imposed due to the supply of components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as electronics and tools used in Russia’s military industry.
Uzstanex, a company registered in Tashkent, was among those added to the UK’s sanctions list. The United States had previously imposed similar measures, also placing the company on its sanctions list.
