The ground lobby of the Druzhby Narodov metro station to be closed for a month

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In order to improve the operation of the metro and improve the quality of service, it is planned to gradually replace outdated escalators installed at metro stations with new ones, Toshkent metropoliteni said in a statement.

At the first stage of planned work, the escalators at the Druzhby Narodov metro station will be replaced with modern ones.

In this regard, the lobby of the Druzhby Narodov metro station (leading towards “Tashkent city”) will be closed from 10 February to 20 March 2024.
