Beibut Atamkulov Concludes Diplomatic Mission in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov has completed his diplomatic mission in the country. This was announced by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov following a meeting with the diplomat.

Saidov noted Atamkulov's contribution to developing friendship, good-neighborliness, and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. According to the Foreign Minister, the ambassador's diplomatic activities occurred during an important period in bilateral relations.

In particular, on 22 December 2022, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed the Treaty on Allied Relations.

Saidov expressed gratitude to Atamkulov for his personal contribution to strengthening bilateral ties. He also noted that the diplomat's merits were highly appreciated by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who awarded Atamkulov the Dustlik Order.

"We will highly value Mr. Ambassador as a sincere friend of Uzbekistan and a high-level professional," Saidov stated, wishing the diplomat success in his future activities.

Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed Yeraly Tugzhanov as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan under a decree signed by the Kazakh head of state.
