Tashkent Upgrades Gas Supply System to Two-Stage Model

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent is continuing work to transition its gas supply system to a two-stage model. The project includes installing gas pressure regulators in households across the capital to ensure stable natural gas supplies for consumers.

According to the Tashkent khokimiyat, a pressure regulator is being installed in each household as part of the modernisation programme. The device maintains gas pressure within the required range and ensures stable operation of the system.

The project was planned to cover 5,484 facilities. However, work has already been completed at 5,649 facilities.

City authorities said the modernisation will help maintain stable gas pressure during the autumn-winter period, reduce the risk of supply disruptions and provide residents with more reliable and higher-quality natural gas services.
