Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A new manufacturing facility involving South Korean company AHA Co., Ltd is scheduled to begin operations in Uzbekistan’s Ferghana Region in September 2026.

The project’s investment volume will amount to US$20 million.

Ferghana Region Governor Khairullo Bozorov held a meeting with a delegation led by AHA Co., Ltd head Ku Gi Do, as well as representatives of Chinese partner companies.

The sides discussed the construction progress of the facility in Eco City, joint projects in information technology and education, and further areas of cooperation.

The new production facility is expected to manufacture interactive electronic boards (IFPD), electric vehicle chargers, medical equipment and other products that will be supplied to both the domestic market and export destinations.

Ku Gi Do said construction and installation work at the site is in its final stage. He added that the company, together with Chinese partners, is also working to organise the production of components and spare parts, as well as attract grant funding for projects in education and information technology.

The meeting also addressed issues related to completing construction and commissioning the facility.

Responsible officials were instructed to ensure the prompt resolution of the assigned tasks.

Khairullo Bozorov said initiatives by foreign partners aimed at developing investment cooperation would receive support. The sides agreed to continue efforts to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
