Uzbekistan, Türkiye Discuss Pharmaceutical Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan held talks with a delegation from Turkish pharmaceutical company Kiperin İlaç Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi to discuss expanding cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
The meeting was attended by Bahrom Makhmatrayemov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Chairman's Adviser Alisher Shaikhov, and Tolga Pektaş, Chief Executive Officer of the Turkish company.
The discussions focused on strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, implementing joint projects in the pharmaceutical industry, expanding investment cooperation, increasing export and import operations, and establishing direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
Representatives of the Turkish company were briefed on Uzbekistan's investment climate, opportunities for production localisation, existing government support measures for investors, tax and customs incentives, and the conditions for export and import operations.
At the conclusion of the talks, the parties agreed to continue working together on practical pharmaceutical projects, promote investment and technology transfer, and strengthen business partnerships between entrepreneurs from the two countries.
Kiperin İlaç Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi was founded in 2019 and specialises in the production of dietary supplements, collagen, vitamins and other health products.
According to the information presented, the company's products are manufactured in compliance with international GMP, HACCP, ISO and Halal standards and are exported to a number of foreign countries.
