Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent residents will face temporary cold-water outages and reduced pressure in water supply networks from 14 September to 22 October. The restrictions are linked to maintenance and preventive work and preparations for the autumn-winter season, Toshkent Shahar Suv Ta’minoti said.

Water tankers will be deployed to the affected areas while supplies are interrupted.

The first outage is scheduled from 9 a.m. on 14 September until 9 a.m. on 15 September. In Yunusabad district, water supplies will be cut to Yangi Shahar Tor Passage, Chinobod Street, the detention centre on Chinobod Street, Manzara residential complex and High Town City residential complex with its shopping and entertainment centre.

From 9 a.m. on 16 September until 2 p.m. on 17 September, restrictions will affect Yashnabad, Mirzo-Ulugbek, Mirabad, Sergeli, Yangihayot and Yakkasaray districts.

In Yashnabad district, the outage will affect the mahallas of Amir Temur, Tuzel, Vatandosh, Tong, Mohinur, Al-Bukhari, Guzal, Olmos, Dilbog, Navruzobod, Yashnobod, Birlashgan, Parvoz, Aviasozlar, Nodira, Khosiyatli, Shohimardon, Donishmand, Shohsanam, Katta Yangiobod, Behizor, Tarnovboshi, Yangikurgan, Fazogir, Ilti­fot, Dustobod, Uchchinor, Aydinkul, Bunyodkor, Semurg, Mashinasozlar, Fidoyilar, Alimkent, Qadriyat, Mahmur, Ahmad Yassaviy, Beshbola, Jurabek, Asalobod and Jarkurgan.

Water will also be unavailable at Boiler House No. 7, the district prosecutor’s office and internal affairs department, Aviasozlar market, Ismail Ergashev City Clinical Hospital No. 4, the National Children’s Medical Centre on Parkent Street, the metro depot, the Palace of Korean Culture and Art, City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 2, Emergency Situations Department No. 15 on Jarkurgan Street, Tashkent City Children’s Tuberculosis Hospital, Dental Clinic No. 4 and Tashkent-Humo International Airport.

In Mirzo-Ulugbek district, restrictions will affect the mahallas of Geologlar, Temuriylar, Sarbon, Gulzorobod, Kuhna Mevazor, Shukur Burkhanov, Alisher Navoi, Katta Korasuv, Oltintepa, Avaykhon, Yangi Avaykhon, Chingeldi, Ijodkor and Alisherobod. Water will also be cut off at New Uzbekistan Park, Family Polyclinic No. 70, Tukaytepa Cathedral Mosque, CAU University, TEAM University, the Institute of Occupational Safety, the Academy of Labour and Social Relations, the Tashkent regional branch of the H. Sulaymonova Republican Centre for Forensic Examination, Tanho Holding’s plant and Boiler House No. 2.

In Mirabad district, the restrictions will affect the mahallas of Tong Yulduzi, Istiqlolobod, Inokobod, Navruz, Yangi Zamon, Furqat, Temiryulchilar, Birodarlik, Zaminobod, Banokatiy, Abdurauf Fitrat, Oltinkul, Korasuv, as well as City Maternity Complex No. 5, City Clinical Hospital No. 3, the Children’s Railway Hospital and Tashkent State Transport University.

In Sergeli district, water supplies will be suspended in Sergeli-6 residential area, the automobile market, Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, the Pepsi plant, the mahallas of Kushkurgan, Nugaykurgan, Kubaytepa, Junarik, Yukori Darkhan, Kut-Baraka, Kumik, Bunyodobod, Oltin Vodiy and Yangi Bunyodobod, Kuyi Tolarik Street and Uchuvchilar settlement.

In Yangihayot district, restrictions will affect the mahallas of Vikor, Al-Fargoni, Chorbog, Yuldosh, Yangi Choshtepa, Choshtepa, Chortak, Zarbdor, Fayzli and Tashkent, as well as City Maternity Complex No. 1, Family Polyclinic No. 37, the morgue, the dermatovenerological dispensary, Denta Fil and syringe manufacturing plants, the metallurgical plant, the tax inspectorate, the bakery in Yuldosh-8 residential area, the district prosecutor’s office and district administration.

In Yakkasaray district, water will be unavailable in the mahallas of Boshlik, Armugon, Kushbegi, Dilbulok, Muhandislar, Babur and Damarik, as well as at Tashkent Thermal Power Centre, City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 3 and the district internal affairs department.

From 9 a.m. on 21 September until 2 p.m. on 22 September, an outage is scheduled in Chilanzar, Sergeli and Yakkasaray districts.

In Chilanzar district, it will affect the mahallas of Chilanzar, 1-Katta Chilanzar, 2-Katta Chilanzar and Katta Kozi­rabod, as well as the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Centre for Hematology, the Centre for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Clinical Immunology, the bacteriological laboratory of the district department of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, Diamed private clinic, Polyclinic No. 34, kindergartens No. 177, 212, 200, 215, schools No. 138, 163, 103 and 66, and Music School No. 6.

In Sergeli district, water supplies will be cut to the Oltin Vodiy, Nugoykurgan and Kubaytepa mahallas.

In Yakkasaray district, restrictions will affect the mahallas of Yakkasaray, Meros, Muqimi, Tukimachi, Dilbulok, Muhandislar and Rakat, as well as the Republican Blood Transfusion Centre, the district prosecutor’s office, the YODJU Institute of Technology on Shota Rustaveli Street, the Southern Railway Station, Yakkasaray and Rahimjon Ota mosques, the Institute of Health Protection and Medical Statistics, the central multidisciplinary polyclinic, the People’s Reception Office and the Tashkent Regional Court building.

From 9 a.m. on 23 September until 2 p.m. on 24 September, the outage will affect Mirzo-Ulugbek and Yunusabad districts.

In Mirzo-Ulugbek district, water will be unavailable in the mahallas of Bahor, Alpomish, Bogi Maydon, Buz-2, Lashkarbegi, Navnihоl, Nodirabegim, Oliyhimmat, Sayram, Shurtepa, Shahriobod, Habib Abdullaev and Olimlar, as well as Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 5, the Defence Ministry’s Central Military Hospital, Family Polyclinic No. 7, Inha University, Emergency Situations Department No. 6 and Boiler House No. 1.

In Yunusabad district, restrictions will affect TashGRES residential area, the mahallas of Bobodekhkon, Oktepa, Otchopar, Oltin Meros, Obod, Posira, Sevinch, Qadrdon, Begubor, Mehnatobod, Choshtepa, Uvaysiy, Yurtobod, Hamkorobod, Hasanboy and Anorzor, as well as Yunusabad-4, Yunusabad-6, Yunusabad-11 and Yunusabad-12 residential areas.

From 9 a.m. on 28 September until 3 p.m. on 29 September, water supplies will be suspended in Yunusabad and Almazar districts.

In Yunusabad, the outage will affect Yunusabad-4, -6, -11, -12, -13, -14, -17, -18 and -19 residential areas, Chinobod and Yangi Shahar Tor streets, the mahallas of Bobodekhkon, Hasanboy and Yunusabad, Temurbeklar School, the children’s and nephrology hospitals, the military hospital, the third residential area, Motor Transport Enterprise No. 8, Boiler House No. 4, Tashkent University of Architecture and Construction, General Education School No. 271 and a number of adjoining passages and dead-end streets.

In Almazar district, water will be unavailable in the mahallas of Ahil, Moyarik, Nihol and Yukori Beshkurgon.

From 9 a.m. on 5 October until 3 p.m. on 6 October, restrictions will affect Yunusabad, Shaykhantahur and Chilanzar districts.

In Yunusabad, water supplies will be cut to the mahallas of Usta Shirin, Turkurgan, Iftikhor, Jami, Yangiaryk, Shahristan, Khusnobod, Otchopar-1 and Otchopar-2, as well as Akilota and Anorzor passages.

In Shaykhantahur district, the outage will affect the mahallas of Takhtapul, Kokhota, Yangi Kamolon, Labzak, Kamolon, Shaykhantahur, Kamolon Darvoza, Janggoh, Karatash, Urda, Chakar, Khadra, Ukchi and Almazar.

Water will also be unavailable at the Tashkent City International Business Centre, Chorsu residential area, Pakhtakor Stadium, the building of the National Television and Radio Company, the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the buildings of Lukoil Operating Company and Uzbekhydroenergo, the Embassy of Kazakhstan, the National Press Centre, the Committee on Religious Affairs, the district administration, the Border Troops of the State Security Service, the Supreme Court, the Tax Committee and the State Circus of Uzbekistan.

In Chilanzar district, the outage will affect the Tashkent city administration, Customs Committee, Tashkent State University of Economics and the city improvement department.

From 9 a.m. on 7 October until 3 p.m. on 8 October, water supplies will be disrupted in Mirzo-Ulugbek, Yashnabad, Bektemir, Sergeli, Mirabad and Yangihayot districts.

In Mirzo-Ulugbek district, restrictions will affect New Uzbekistan Park, a number of social and educational facilities, Tanho Holding’s plant, as well as the mahallas of Temuriylar, Sarbon, Gulzorobod, Kuhna Mevazor, Chingeldi, Ijodkor, Alisherobod and Geologlar.

In Yashnabad district, water will be unavailable in the mahallas of Jarboshi, Hilol, Argin, Toshisti, Mohirlar, Tovkente­pa, Bogbon, Qalqon, Olmos, Uysоzlar, Urta Masjid, Katta Kuylik, Kuylikobod, Yosh Avlod, Mumtoz, Yangikurgan and Uchchinor, as well as Okhanrabo residential area, a bakery, a military unit, Yangiobod and Gumbaz markets and Olimpiya settlement.

In Bektemir district, the outage will affect the mahallas of Mirishkor, Rohat, Zilola, Iqbol, Chashma, Majnuntol, Iyq Ota, Gulbog, Abay, Husayn Boyqaro, Bektemir, Oltintopgan, Nurafshon, Musaffo, Sohil, Nurli Yo‘l and Ustozlar, as well as a number of industrial, medical, administrative and other facilities.

In Sergeli district, restrictions will affect Kuruvchilar residential area, the Pepsi plant, Sergeli-2, -5, -5A, -6, -6A, -7, -7A, -8 and -8A residential areas, as well as numerous mahallas, Boiler House No. 8, the Sanoatenergo boiler house, the GM plant and Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport.

In Mirabad district, water will be unavailable in the mahallas of Fayziobod, Ok Uy, Bayot, Kuylik Ota, Ziyonur, Yuksalish, Chinor, Bilimdon, Tolarik, Yangi Kuylik, Parvona and Baratkhuzha, as well as Boiler House No. 6.

In Yangihayot district, restrictions will affect the mahallas of Tashabbus, Yangi Umid, Yangihayot, Oriyat, Marhamat, Gulshanobod, Yangi Turmush, Yangi Darkhan, Navkiron, Mashal, Zarbdor, Dustlik, Charogon, Humo, Olchazor, Khushnud, Chorbog and Yorqin Hayot.

From 9 a.m. on 12 October until noon on 13 October, water supplies will be suspended in Yunusabad district, affecting the Jami and Registan mahallas, Naqshbandiy and Iftikhor streets, and House No. 55 on Bogiravon Street.

From 9 a.m. on 14 October until 3 p.m. on 15 October, restrictions will affect Almazar, Shaykhantahur and Uchtepa districts.

In Almazar district, water will be unavailable in the mahallas of Taraqqiyot, Korasaroy, Namuna, Gurucharik, Hazrati Imam, Chimbay, Gani Azamov, Orzu, Ziyo, Universitet, Ziyokor, Mirzo Golib, Chigatay, Oktepa, Shifokorlar, Allon and Chigatay Darvoza, as well as at Olmazor City high-rise buildings, City Maternity Complex No. 2, the Almazar district court, Akfa Medline clinic, the urology hospital, Kuksaray Hospital, the student campus and dormitories, Hazrati Imam Mosque, Barakhan Madrasah and City Clinical Tuberculosis Hospital No. 1.

In Shaykhantahur district, the outage will affect the mahallas of Uzbekistan, Beltepa, Zafarobod, Huvaydo, Ipakchi, Kukcha, Shofayz and Buston, as well as a number of streets and passages.

In Uchtepa district, water will be unavailable in the mahallas of Degrez, Bogi Chinor, Begobod, Koriyogdi, Khondamir, Nishabariq, Sharq Yulduzi, Shofayz Bogi, Pakhtakor, Kukcha, Oktepa, Jurjoniy, Abdulla Qodiriy, Beshkayragach, Hayratiy and Davlatobod.

From 9 a.m. on 19 October until 3 p.m. on 20 October, an outage is scheduled in Yunusabad district. Water will be unavailable in a number of Sokhibkor, Oktepa and Uchitelyar passages, Chinobod and Otchopar streets, Chinobod and Yangi Shahar passages, Obiravon Street, Manzara residential complex, High Town City with its shopping and entertainment centre, and Hayot Clinic.

The final outage listed in the schedule is scheduled from 9 a.m. on 21 October until 2 p.m. on 22 October and will affect Chilanzar district.

The affected areas include the mahallas of 1-Charkh Kamolon, 2-Charkh Kamolon, 3-Charkh Kamolon, Novza, 2-Katta Chilanzar, 3-Katta Chilanzar, Chilanzar, Dilobod, Xalqlar Do‘stligi, Beshchinor, Diyor, Kozirobod, Naqqoshlik, Katta Dumbirabad, Dumbirabad, Gavhar, Nafosat, Oktepa and Yakkabog.

The outage will also affect schools No. 182, 178, 173, 162, 128 and 168; kindergartens No. 336, 364, 291, 267, 89, 256, 230, 36, 24, 178 and 182; the First Republican Medical College; Tashkent City Infectious Diseases Hospital; the Republican Scientific Centre for Emergency Medical Care; the city prosecutor’s office; House of Mercy No. 22; and the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Centre of Surgery named after Academician Vosit Vohidov.
