Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent Region Governor Zoir Mirzaev has met with Lasselsberger Group CEO Josef Lasselsberger to discuss investment in construction materials production and the development of modern manufacturing facilities in the region.
The talks focused on strengthening economic ties and launching new industrial projects using the company’s international experience and advanced technologies, according to the Tashkent Region administration.
Particular attention was paid to the efficient use of local raw materials. The two sides exchanged views on promising areas and explored opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Lasselsberger Group is one of Europe’s leading producers of construction materials. Founded in 1957, the company now operates 62 branches in 26 countries.
Several investment projects involving the company are underway in Uzbekistan to produce and process construction materials. In addition to Tashkent Region, the projects cover Samarkand and Kashkadarya regions.
