Tashkent Presents Investment Potential in Seoul Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Tashkent presented the capital’s investment potential at a Government-to-Business (G2B) forum held on 23 July in Seoul.

The event was organized with the participation of the Tashkent delegation, the management of the Yangi Avlod Special Industrial Zone and Tashkent Invest Company JSC.

During the forum, representatives of the Korea Export-Import Association (KOEIA) and companies belonging to the association were presented with Tashkent’s investment opportunities and the conditions created for investors in the Yangi Avlod Special Industrial Zone.

The sides discussed prospects for cooperation in industry, logistics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, artificial intelligence, water technologies and other areas.

Bilateral meetings with representatives of South Korean businesses were also held on the sidelines of the forum. The participants discussed the implementation of promising investment projects, expansion of business contacts and development of long-term mutually beneficial cooperation.
