Tashkent Metro sets new passenger record in 2024

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — According to the data from the Statistics Agency, Tashkent Metro carried a record 270.3 million passengers in 2024. This figure represents a 57.2% (98.3 million passengers) increase compared to 2023.

The growth in passenger traffic has been observed over the past few years:

2021: 101.8 million

2022: 136.7 million

2023: 172.0 million

2024: 270.3 million
