Tashkent, ACWA Power discuss energy efficiency projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Hokim of Tashkent, Shavkat Umurzakov, held a meeting with ACWA Power Chairman Mohammad Abunayyan to discuss expanding cooperation in the energy sector and developing investment projects in the capital.

The talks focused on prospects for collaboration in renewable energy sources, modernization of urban infrastructure, and the introduction of modern technological solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency.

Special attention was given to the potential application in Tashkent of sustainable energy and infrastructure approaches aligned with international best practices. The sides reviewed areas related to improving the efficiency of urban systems and developing environmentally oriented projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the further development of cooperation and agreed to continue working on the proposed initiatives with the aim of their practical implementation.
