Russia, Uzbekistan to Hold IT Business Mission in September
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan will host a strategic business mission of Russian IT companies, titled “Digital Bridge,” from 21 to 24 September 2026. Representatives of the technology sectors of both countries will discuss opportunities for cooperation and joint projects, according to VIFORUM.
The event is intended to provide a platform for direct dialogue between Russian IT solution providers and potential customers in Uzbekistan, as well as for demonstrating technologies and building long-term partnerships.
The Russia-Uzbekistan business mission is organized by the ROSUE Association, VIFORUM and the Academy of Information Systems, with support from Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the International Center for Regional Integration.
The organizers said the main objective is to establish a sustainable mechanism for transferring advanced technologies, strengthening technological sovereignty and launching joint projects in key sectors of the economy.
The business program will focus on three areas: establishing direct contacts between IT solution providers and end customers, presenting proven and scalable Russian technologies, and concluding agreements and preparing roadmaps for implementing solutions.
The Russian delegation will include representatives of leading IT companies interested in entering the Uzbek market. Uzbekistan is expected to be represented by government agencies, regulators, and executives of major technology and industrial companies.
As part of the business mission, Russian companies will be able to learn about regulatory aspects of operating in the Uzbek market and existing support measures.
The organizers also expect the event to facilitate direct business contacts with potential customers.
Particular attention will be paid to demand for digital solutions in industry, public administration and business.
According to the organizers, the platform is intended not only to showcase technologies but also to help move discussions toward concrete agreements and joint projects.
