Syria stuns Uzbekistan in WC qualifiers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan national team suffered a 1-0 loss at the hand of Syria within the third round of the qualification tournament of the 2018 FIFA World Cup with the victory.

The match between Uzbekistan and Syria was held in Malaysia. Omar Harbin netted the only goal of the match from penalty on 90 minutes of the game.

Uzbekistan now will face Qatar in Tashkent on 28 March 2017.
