Syrdarya Delegation Studies Agricultural Technologies in Turfan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The delegation of Syrdarya region led by Governor Erkinjon Turdimov continued its working visit to the Chinese city of Turfan, where it studied modern agricultural technologies and water-saving solutions.

As part of the visit program, the delegation toured several agricultural facilities focused on improving crop yields and efficient use of water resources.

In Bodom village of Olovtog town, the delegation inspected melon fields and projects implementing high-efficiency water-saving technologies.

Later in Afandi village of Sanbao town, the parties discussed modern methods of cultivating melons and watermelons, including drip irrigation systems and technologies aimed at increasing productivity.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited a demonstration vineyard featuring intelligent water-saving systems in Yaer town.

The site presented digital control systems, soil moisture monitoring technologies, and solutions designed to minimize water consumption in agriculture.
