Six new power plants put into operation in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Since the beginning of 2022, six new power plants with a total capacity of 1,254 MW have been put into operation in Uzbekistan - five thermal power plants (TPPs) and one solar photovoltaic station (PVP).

In particular, the following were commissioned:

Gas piston thermal power plant in Bukhara district of Bukhara region - 270 MW;

Combined-cycle plant in Kibray district of Tashkent region - 240 MW;

TPP in the Yangiaryk district of Khorezm region - 174 MW;

Gas piston thermal power plant in Kibray district of Tashkent region - 230 MW;

Modern thermal power plant in Kibray district of Tashkent region - 240 MW;

Solar photovoltaic plant in Nurabad district of Samarkand region - 100 MW.
