Sinoma wind turbine blade project continues in Jizzakh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement held a working meeting with representatives of the Sinoma Wind Power Blade Central Asia joint venture dedicated to the implementation of an investment project for the production of wind turbine blades.

The project is being implemented within the free economic zone in the Zaamin District of the Jizzakh Region. During the talks, the sides reviewed practical issues arising at the implementation stage.

Company representatives reported on issues related to the import of necessary raw materials, the application of customs privileges, the clarification of FEACN (commodity nomenclature) codes, and the processing of project documentation in accordance with established procedures.

It was noted that the bulk of the raw materials for production will be supplied through imports. At the same time, local raw materials must undergo laboratory testing and quality verification to ensure compliance with technical requirements before use.

The meeting participants also emphasized that the imported raw materials are intended to support the initial stage of production, whereas a single-delivery supply of the full volume of materials required to reach the enterprise's projected annual capacity is difficult in practice.

Agency representatives recommended that the company prepare the necessary package of documents and submit it to the Center for Increasing the Efficiency of Projects and Procurement state institution.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue interaction on issues arising during the implementation of the investment project and to provide the necessary practical assistance within the competence of the agency.
