Shortanneftegaz launches fifth propane-butane mixture facility

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Shortanneftegaz unitary subsidiary enterprise launched the fifth line of propane-butane mixture production facility.

New line will allow to process 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce 50,000 tonnes of liquefied gas a year.

In the result of project implementation, Shortanneftegaz will increase processing of gas from 12 billion to 15 billion cubic meters and production of liquefied gas from 190,000 to 240,000 tonnes a year.

The project was financed due to own capital of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company at the size of US$48.97 million and loan of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan for US$37.5 million.
