Shomurodov Scores as Istanbul Başakşehir Falls to Trabzonspor in Turkish League

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan national team striker Eldor Shomurodov scored in Turkey’s Süper Lig as his club, Istanbul Başakşehir, suffered a 3-4 defeat to Trabzonspor.

Shomurodov netted his team’s second goal in the 45th minute, redirecting a right-flank pass into the bottom left corner past goalkeeper André Onana.

The match was decided in stoppage time when Trabzonspor scored in the 90+11th minute to secure the victory.

Following the game, Shomurodov is tied with Trabzonspor’s Paul Onuachu for the league’s top scorer position, each with nine goals.
