Senate of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on amnesty

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan (parliament’s upper house) adopted a resolution about amnesty in connection with the 19th anniversary of Independence Day.

It is planned the release of women, those who were under 18 when committing a crime, as well as elder people and foreign citizens.

As earlier reported, the third plenary session of the Senate opened in Tashkent on 28 August.
