Russian Deputy Minister, Uzbekistani envoy hold meeting

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and State Secretary Grigory Karasin received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation, Ziyaduylla Pulathodjaev on 1 October 2010.

They discussed the state of and prospects for Russian-Uzbek relations, paying special attention to individual questions of economic and trade cooperation between our countries and to the situation in the Central Asian region.

The conversation was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere characteristic of Russian-Uzbek relations based on the principles of strategic partnership and alliance.
