Russian Agri-Exports to Uzbekistan Surge Sharply
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to data from Agroexport, the Russian Federation supplied approximately 320,000 tons of agricultural and food products to Uzbekistan worth more than US$315 million in January–March 2026.
The export volume increased significantly compared to the same period in 2024, with a 1.8-fold rise in physical terms and a 1.6-fold increase in monetary value.
The largest share of shipments was accounted for by several key product categories. Among the leading export items was sugar, with volumes exceeding 135,000 tons, followed by soybean meal and oilcake at around 70,000 tons.
A significant portion of deliveries also included carbonated soft drinks, sunflower oil, and chocolate confectionery products, with volumes ranging from 7,500 to 9,000 tons.
Overall, in 2025, exports of Russian agricultural and food products to Uzbekistan reached 1.15 million tons, totaling approximately US$1.2 billion, reflecting a stable upward trend in bilateral trade relations in the food sector.
