Rescuers Recover Truck From Ditch at Kamchik Pass
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Rescuers from Uzbekistan's Ministry of Emergency Situations recovered a truck that left the roadway and entered a roadside ditch on the A-373 highway through Kamchik Pass. No one was injured in the incident.
According to the ministry, the Kamchik Special Rescue Unit received a report of the road accident at 4:30 a.m. on 21 July.
Preliminary information indicates that the driver of an Isuzu truck travelling on the Tashkent–Ferghana Valley route lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the road and enter the roadside ditch.
Emergency responders used specialized equipment to recover the truck and move it to a safe location.
The ministry said there were no injuries as a result of the accident.
