Project HOPE and Uzbekistan Havo Yollari deliver pharmaceuticals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Project HOPE and Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) delivered pharmaceuticals to Uzbekistan on 10 May 2016, the US Embassy in Tashkent said.

The medicines were donated by the pharmaceutical companies GlaxoSmithKline and Merck Sharp & Dohme. The cargo is worth US$2.255 million.

The delivery of the medication is the result of the successful coordination and cooperation of government entities, private industry, and a non-profit organization working together to assist the health and well-being of people in Uzbekistan.
