Afghan Business Delegation Visits Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), led by its chairman Sayed Karim Hashemi, has arrived in Uzbekistan to discuss expanding trade and economic cooperation and implementing joint investment projects.

The delegation includes more than 100 entrepreneurs, investors and ACCI representatives. The three-day visit to Tashkent includes meetings with government officials, regional authorities and representatives of the Uzbek business community.

According to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Sayed Karim Hashemi and members of the delegation will hold talks with the governor and government officials of Syrdarya Region.

The meetings will focus on strengthening bilateral trade ties, expanding business cooperation and identifying new opportunities for joint investment projects.

The Afghan delegation will also visit industrial and manufacturing enterprises in Syrdarya Region to explore opportunities for cooperation between companies from the two countries.

The delegation also includes ACCI Deputy Chairman for Regional Affairs Faiz Ahmad Khawafi and board members Sahi Ahmad Norzad and Yahya Pashtun.

The visit comes amid ongoing development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, including the expansion of bilateral trade, the development of transport routes and the search for new investment opportunities.
