Prices for AI-80 gasoline have increased in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – From 1 January, prices for AI-80 gasoline have increased in Uzbekistan.

At UNG Petro gas stations, the cost of a liter of this type of gasoline increased from 6,050 soums to 6,800 soums.

At private gas stations, the price per liter of AI-80 gasoline now ranges from 8,000 soums to 8,800 soums.

Gasoline prices increased due to the end of the zero excise tax rate on imported and local AI-80 gasoline.

It is worth noting that zero excise tax rate was introduced due to restrictions on the operation of gas stations and an increase in demand for gasoline from 13 December 2022 to 1 March 2023. The rate was later extended until the end of 2023.
