President’s New Year Parties take place across Uzbekistan

Children of Mercy Houses (orphanages), special boarding schools, children from low-income families and those from special needs were invited to the events.

President’s New Year Party in Tashkent was held at the Turkiston Palace.

A theatre play “Mehrli Dunyo” (Kind World), which glorifies patriotism, friendship, hard-working and honesty, was presented to the audience, UzA reported.

The children received New Year gifts from the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

UzDaily reported that some 11,000 New Year presents of the President of Uzbekistan will be handed over to orphan children, children with disabilities and children from low income and many children families.
