President: Number of population exceeds 31,5m people

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of people of Uzbekistan exceeded 31.5 million, the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov said on 6 February 2015.

Speaking at the Seventh Session of UzLiDeP, Uzbek leader noted that now number of population of Uzbekistan makes up 31.5 million people.

During independence years, number of population of Uzbekistan grew by 10,5 million people, Islam Karimov noted.
