Power supply cut off in some districts of Kashkadarya due to wind

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Due to strong winds, power outages are observed in some districts and cities of Kashkadarya region, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.

In order to ensure the safety of electric power networks and prevent more serious emergencies, Kashkadarya region was temporarily disconnected from power supply.

"As soon as the wind weakens, the electricity will be connected to the grid again," the press service said.
