The visit was organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Doha. The delegation of Uzbekistan held negotiations with the heads of leading Qatari banks, including Qatar National Bank, Doha Bank, Al Rayan Bank and Commercial Bank of Qatar.
During the negotiations, detailed information was provided on the ongoing work to create an effective infrastructure and automate the activities of banks in Uzbekistan, carry out a comprehensive transformation of state-owned commercial banks, as well as the introduction of securities and other services related to the capital market based on Islamic finance.
At the end of the meeting, a corresponding presentation of the financial indicators of Uzsanoatkurilishbank, the size of existing investment projects and the possibilities of their financing was presented.
