Uzbekiston Temir Yollari launches a regular fast train from Tashkent to Almaty from May

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- From 2 May 2022, Uzbekistan Temir Yollari is launching a regular fast train on the Almaty-2 - Tashkent - Almaty-2 (Talgo-Tulpar) route.

“According to the agreement between Uzbekiston Temir Yollari and NC “Kazakhstan temir zholy”, starting from 2 May 2022, a regular fast train No. 1/2 is organized three times a week with the message Almaty-2 - Tashkent - Almaty-2 ( Talgo-Tulpar)," the company said in a statement.

From the railway station "Tashkent-Central" to Kazakhstan, this train will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. And from the railway station "Almaty-2" to Uzbekistan - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

It should be noted that the resumption of railway communication with other countries of the near abroad will also be gradually opened by agreement of the parties.
