Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) –– The Government adopted a resolution “On measures to organize the activities of the company “Company for refinancing mortgages in Uzbekistan”.

According to the resolution, a refinancing credit institution was established - the Company for refinancing mortgages of Uzbekistan in the form of a joint stock company with an initial authorized capital of 25 billion soums.

The shareholder on behalf of the state in the authorized capital of the company is the Ministry of Finance.

One of the main objectives of the Company is to provide, on the basis of market principles, financial resources to commercial banks to meet the needs of the population in affordable housing.

In accordance with the resolution, the Company is exempted from paying a fee for the state registration of issues of equity securities and a fee for the consideration of documents related to the issue of securities.
