Poland Extradites Fraud Suspect to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Poland has extradited to Uzbekistan a citizen who was wanted internationally on charges of large-scale fraud, the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan said.

The suspect was handed over to representatives of Uzbekistan's National Central Bureau of Interpol at Warsaw Airport.

According to the agency, the suspect's cross-border movements were tracked through Interpol channels, after which he was detained in Poland.

Following the completion of the necessary procedures, the man was transferred to Uzbekistan's law enforcement authorities to face the charges against him.
