PFLUz General Director Omon Gafurov resigns

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - Omon Gafurov, who was head of the Professional Football League of Uzbekistan since 10 October 2017, submitted his resignation.

“During this time we have worked a lot on the development of football. I would like to thank our team, with whom we worked shoulder to shoulder. I wish the new leadership of the Football Association of Uzbekistan strength, good luck and victories on the upcoming path. There are definitely errors and omissions in the work. I apologize to the football community and football fans for this. Uzbek football and its fans deserve great victories. I thank everyone,” Omon Gafurov said.
